Itinerary

1. Day 1: Windhoek - Sossusvlei

   • Meet the tour guide, who will pick you up at the hotel or guesthouse after breakfast in Windhoek and go straight on the way south to the world-famous Sossusvlei via scenic Spreetshoogte Pass. 
   • Make a stop-over at the viewpoint to appreciate the endless view of the Namib. Enjoy lunch at the Solitaire oasis. 
   • Arrive at the lodge or campsite around three-four in the afternoon. Dinner will be served here.

2. Day 2: Sossusvlei

   • Visit the Sesriem Gate early in the morning.
   • Start off with climbing the picturesque Dune 45, experiencing the beauty and vastness of the orange-coloured landscape. There will be a 5 km off-road drive to the Dead Vlei, a place of the vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient Acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. 
   • Take on climbing one of the highest dunes on Big Dad or 'Big Mama.' (Optional) From 360 degrees, the panoramic views of the 'Sea of Sand' are incredible! Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei are considered to be one of the most photogenic and most photographed places on Earth! 
   • See occasional wildlife: ostriches, oryx, bat-eared foxes, springboks, cheetahs and various birds that inhabit the desert along the way. 
   • Spend the afternoon resting and relaxing in the quiet atmosphere of Namib.

3. Day 3: Sossusvlei to Windhoek

   • Have breakfast, check out and return to Windhoek travelling through the beautiful Spreetshoogte Pass. 
   • Make a stopover at Solitaire, and arrive back in Windhoek in the afternoon. 
   • Drop off at your Lodge, and then, you will be joining for an afternoon game drive at Gocheganas Lodge in their safari vehicle.

4. Day 4: Windhoek – Etosha National Park

   • Stop for a lunch break in Otjiwarongo or Outjo. Have lunch.
   • Continue your drive through Etosha National Park for a game drive. A good night's rest will be required so that you are able to wake up early, freshen up and be ready for your next adventure.

5. Day 5: Etosha National Park

   • Join a morning game drive with Namibia Wildlife Resort (NWR) Game Viewer (Open Vehicle). 
   • Return for breakfast after the morning drive with a private open vehicle. After breakfast, go for three hours game drive with NTTS Vehicle. 
   • After lunch and client need some rest and relaxation; visit the last waterhole in the afternoon, which will be the last appreciation of Namibia’s beauty. 
   • Head back to the lodge for dinner before sunset, where you can share stories of your experiences of the day and also share and compare beautiful photos.

6. Day 6: Etosha National Park- Windhoek

   • Have breakfast, you will check out and travel back to Windhoek, passing through Outjo. 
   • Make our last stop at the small town of Okahandja, the home of Namibia’s largest wood carving market.
   • Arrive at Windhoek late afternoon and be dropped off at your accommodation on our return.
