Itinerary

Day tour of Alexandria
- Meet with the tour guide at your hotel in Cairo, travel to Alexandria and visit the following places:
  - Catacombs of Kom al-Shoqafa - the ancient Roman underground cemetery of the 3rd-century, which is about 32 m long.
  - Pompey pillar - dating back to the 3rd-century B.C, the original location of one of the prominent Greeks temples.
  - The Al-Montazah Palace, now a public museum.
  - Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 14-century, is the original location of the Pharos lighthouse and is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
  - The newly rebuilt Library of Alexandria.
