Itinerary

Day 1- Arrive in Yerevan
- Explore the highlights of Yerevan, built along river Hrazdan.
- Take a stroll through Republic Square and relish a delectable Armenian breakfast.

Day 2- Yerevan to Goris
- Explore Khor Virap Monastery, located on the Ararat plain in Armenia. It is an important pilgrimage of the country.
- Visit Areni village, renowned for its wine production.
- Stroll through Noravank Monastery, a 13th-century monastery famous for its architecture.
- Go to Goris, in southern Armenia and known for the regional style of its buildings.

Day 3- Goris to Tatev
- From Goris, go to Khndzoresk, known for being a unique cave town on a hill slope.
- Visit Tatev, a village with multiple beautiful sites to explore, including the 9th-century Tatev Monastery and local markets.
- Head to Goris, which is situated in the valley of the river Goris.

Day 4- Karahoonj to Sevan
Explore Karahunj, an archaeological site, also known as 'Armenian Stonehedge".
See the Selim Caravanserai that was built to host tired travellers crossing the Vayots Dzor mountain region
Tour the Noratus village, famous for its cemeteries.
Go to Sevan, built no the shores of Lake Sevan.

Day 5- Sevan to Dzoraget
- Head to Dilijan, the spa-town of Armenia, also known as the Armenian Switzerland.
- Visit Goshavank Monastery in Gosh village.
- Explore Haghpat and Sanahin Monasteries famous for their architectural designs.
- End the day by going to the Dzoraget village.

Day 6- Dzoraget to Yerevan
- From Dzoraget, go to Saghmosavank monastery located on top of gorge by the Kasagh river.
- Visit Amberd Fortress located more than 2000 metres above sea level.
Come back to Yerevan.

Day 7- Yerevan to Vernissage
- From Yerevan, go to Echmiadzin, the fourth largest city in the country and known for its Cathedral.
- Visit Zvartnots and the famous Zvartnots Cathedral with its mesmerising historical architecture.
- Explore Vernissage, a large open-air market in Yerevan.

Day 8- Return to Yerevan-Departure
- Visit Matenadaran Museum, home to ancient manuscripts.
Explore Garni temple, the only Greco-Roman temple in the world.
Walk around the Geghard monastery, carved out of the adjoining mountain and surrounded by hills.
- Return to Yerevan and depart for home or an onward destination.
