Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

   • Meet your guide at a predecided location.

   • Reach your hotel and the remainder of the day is yours; free to explore.

   • Stay overnight at Istanbul /Boutique /Sirkeci Mansion Hotel or similar.

2. Day 2: Sightseeing in Istanbul Old City

   • Have your breakfast.

   • Enjoy a fully guided tour of the only city to span two continents, visiting the Blue Mosque, St Sophia Museum, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome. 

   • Cruise between two continents on the stretch of water that separates Europe from Asia in the afternoon with an optional 'Half day Bosphorus cruise'.

   • Stay overnight at Istanbul/ Boutique/ Sirkeci Mansion Hotel.

3. Day 3: Visit the Gallipoli Battlefields

   • Visit the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli of the most emotionally touching places. 

   • Continue to Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, The Nek, Johnston's Jolly, original trenches and tunnels.

   • Spend the night at Çanakkal/ Troia Tusan Hotel.

4. Day 4: Visit Troy and Acropolis of Pergamum

   • Visit Troy, home of the famed Trojan horse.

   • Tour the magnificent Acropolis of Pergamum (ancient Greek city). Its impressive temples and library have made Pergamum a renowned cultural and political centre in its time. 

   • Spend the night at Kusadasi/ Boutique/ Ilayda Avantgarde Hotel.

5. Day 5: Visit Ephesus and Kusadasi

   • Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus.

   • Visit the site of the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre.

   • Continue to the former Greek village of Sirince, famous for its fruit wines.

   • Learn carpet weaving by hand and what determines their value.

   • Stay overnight at Kusadasi/ Boutique/ Ilayda Avantgarde Hotel.

6. Day 6: Sightseeing in Pamukkale and Hierapolis

   • Enjoy a display of locally handcrafted leather goods.

   • Visit the magnificent white calcium terraces, known as Travertines, in Pamukkale.

   • Tour the ancient city of Hierapolis. 

   • Take a dip, amongst ancient columns, in the hot springs that were used in Roman times for their therapeutic powers.

   • Stay overnight at Pamukkale/4 star/ Colossae Thermal Hotel.

7. Day 7: Travel to the Silk Road

   • Travel to the ancient Silk Road visiting the Sultanhani Caravansary and the Mevlana museum in Konya along the way.

   • Tonight, don't miss the optional traditional Turkish folklore evening.

   • Stay overnight at Cappadocia/ Boutique Cave/ Elevres Stone House Hotel.

8. Day 8: Sightseeing in Cappadocia

   • Marvel at the lunar landscape of Cappadocia today as we visit the Goreme Valley Open Air Museum and its fairy chimneys and explore the many levels of an underground city.

   • Spend the night at Cappadocia/ Boutique Cave/ Elevres Stone House Hotel. 

9. Day 9: Drive to Ankara

   • Begin with an early morning drive to the nation's capital, Ankara where we visit Anitkabir, the mausoleum of the famed Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, before returning to Istanbul.

   • Spend the night at Istanbul/ Boutique/ Sirkeci Mansion Hotel.

10. Day 10: Drive to the Airport

    • Have your breakfast.

    • Drive to the airport for your onward flight.
