Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar

   • Meet your guide at the Srinagar Airport. 

   • Visit the world famous Mughal gardens, including Shalimar, Nishat, Tulip gardens (Asia’s biggest tulip garden), Botanical gardens, Chesmashahi, Parimahal & Famous Hazratbal. All the gardens are situated on the banks of Dal Lake, with the Zabarwan hills in the background.

   • Have dinner and stay overnight at your hotel in Srinagar.

2. Day 2: Sightseeing in Gulmarg

   • Set out from Srinagar to Gulmarg in the morning.

   • Enjoy the view of the snowy mountains. 

     • Take a pony ride in scenic meadows or the Gondola ride, the World’s Highest ropeway to Khillanmarg and Affarwat, at your own cost. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course with 18 holes. 

   •  If the weather permits, one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feet and dominates the entire region. 

   • Leave for Srinagar.  

   • Stay overnight in Srinagar.

3. Day 3: Sightseeing in Pahalgam

   • Visit Pahalgam, also known as the valley of shepherds. 

   • En-route, visit the saffron fields of Pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Awantivarman), and enjoy the beautiful countryside. 

   • Drive through the pine forests to reach Pahalgam and enjoy the Lidder stream.

   • Walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains. 

   • Return to Srinagar 

   • Stay overnight at your hotel in Srinagar.

4. Day 4: Sightseeing in Sonmarg

   • Have breakfast and proceed to Sonmarg for a day of sightseeing and explore the beautiful glaciers and lush green pine valleys.

   • Enjoy a pony ride in Sonmarg.

   • Return to Srinagar in the evening. 

   • Have a restful night in a houseboat in Srinagar.

5. Day 5: Departure from Srinagar

   • Reach the Srinagar Airport for your flight back home.
