Day 1: Yerevan - Khor Virap - Hermon
Move from Yerevan to Khor Virap monastery.
Visit with your Armenia tour guide:
Areni wine tasting: taste the best wine found in Armenia; brewed by local winegrowers.
Areni caves: this cave complex is an early Bronze Age ritual site and settlement.
Noravank monastery: 13th-century Armenian monastery located in a gorge.
Yeghegis: this village has a rich history and houses the medieval Tsakhats Kar Monastery.
Arates monastery: an abandoned village that once belonged to Hermon's kingdom.
Arrive in Hermon where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Hermon - Jermuk
Proceed for a sightseeing tour from Hermon to visit:
Shatin: a village in Yeghegis that offers a spectacular viewpoint to see the rare wild mountain goats from.
Smbataberd Fortress: a most imposing fortress located at the crest of two mountains.
Tsakhats Kar Monastery: is a monastic complex overlooking the Yeghegis River.
Village Martiros (Cave church): a semi-abandoned village rich with cultural artefacts.
Reach Jermuk where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Jermuk - Yerevan
Go on a Jermuk city tour to:
Selim Caravanserai: a caravanserai built alongside the Vardenyats Mountain Pass.
Noratus Cemetery: a medieval cemetery with many early khachkars located in the village of Noratus, near Lake Sevan.
Lake Sevan (Sevanavank monastery): a medieval monastery located on the sole major island in Armenia.
Return to Yerevan. The tour ends here.
