Aberdare National Park Safari Excursion
Start the journey at 06:00 hrs for a day trip to Aberdare National Park, located 100 km east of Nairobi, with an area of 767 km sq that covers the higher areas of the Aberdare Mountain Ranges of Central Kenya. The topography is quite diverse, with deep ravines that cut through the forested eastern and western slopes.
Witness a diverse range of wildlife, including the black rhino, leopard, baboon, black and white colobus monkey and sykes monkey. Rarer sightings include those of lions, the golden cat and the bongo, an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest. Animals like the eland and melanistic serval cats can be found higher up in the moorlands.
Enjoy many diverse attractions ranging from game drives, waterfalls exploration (Chania falls, Magura falls, Karura falls), Queen's cave, and the best montane scenery with your Kenyan tour guide.
