Itinerary

1. Day 1: Surabaya Airport-Malang - Hotel In Mount Bromo

   • Reach your hotel after being picked up by our driver using private AC (air-conditioned) transportation from the airport, hotel or train station to your hotel

   Enjoy your first night's stay.

2. Day 2: Mount Bromo Sunrise Tour - Hotel In Ijen Crater

   • Go with your jeep driver to the Pananjakan peak to see spectacular sunrise views after a 30 minutes trip.

   • Get to the Pananjakan peak, and trek for 10 minutes till the View Point for the sunrise time at 5:20 am.

   • Enjoy the sunrise views over some of the highest peaks here - Mt Batok, Bromo Crater, a massive Sea of Sand, Semeru volcano - also known as the highest volcano mountain in East Java Island. 

   • Finish enjoying the sunrise views and come back in a private jeep 4 WD.

   • Continue to the Crater area through a stop at the Sea of Sand (a wide desert).

   • Trek for about 30 minutes or else opt for horse riding transportation which will take about 15 minutes till the Crater.

   • Return to your jeep for a trip back to your hotel for having breakfast, taking shower and preparing for check out.

   • Check out from your hotel at the time you wish and then continue your trip to a hotel around the Ijen volcano area. This will be a 6 hours drive with a stop on the way for lunch at some local restaurant.

   • Arrive at the hotel near the Ijen Volcano area and stay the night here for your next day's Ijen volcano trekking activity. 

3. Day 3: Ijen crater - Finish Tour At Surabaya

   • Travel to the Paltuding (parking lot). It will take about 30 minutes if you stay at a nearby homestay around the Ijen volcano. But if you stay in hotels, the trip duration to the parking area will be about 2 hours.

   • Get to Paltuding (parking lot at Ijen Crater), climb to the rim for about 2 hours and enjoy relaxed views of the green acid lake, massive rim area with yellowish sulfur stones and also that of the sulfur miners activity that happens at the bottom of Ijen Crater.  (If you reach the Ijen volcano rim earlier, you will also be able to see the Blue Flames from this crater which normally appears before 5:30 am). 

   • After you are done with trekking, come back to Paltuding (parking area) through a 2-hour trek down. Reach the Ijen volcano Paltuding and then come back to Surabaya or Malang.
