Explore the State Aviation Museum, located in Kyiv. Visit one of the best and largest aviation museums in the world, and see a unique collection of airliners, fighters, bombers, helicopters, and support aircraft. The museum was established in 2003, crowning its opening with the most significant date - the 100th anniversary of world aviation. The spacious territory of 14 hectares houses airplanes and helicopters, each of which is part of the magnificent history of the sky. The Aviation Museum's collections contain designs from most of the leading design bureaus of the Soviet Union: Tupolev, Yakovlev, Ilyushin, Antonov, Sukhoi, Mikoyan-Gurevich, and others. The exhibition is being expanded by decommissioned aircraft, which are given an exhibition appearance and displayed on the museum grounds. On many of the aircraft presented here, the main systems remain operational.
