Day 1: Reach Bari

Check-in and have dinner at a hotel in the city (4 nights).

Day 2: Sightseeing in Trani & Castel Del Monte
Have breakfast.
Depart for Trani “Slow city” and “The Pearl of the Adriatic.” Trani is known especially for the presence of the beautiful cathedral by the sea in Apulian Romanesque style.
See the Mother Church, dressed in white, which has four different sections.
Take a beautiful walk through the ancient Giudecca quarter that will reveal the multicultural component of the city that still conserves an antique synagogue of the 12th century. This is a perfect place to talk about important themes such as tolerance and respect for different cultures and religions.
Enjoy ancient arcades and freshly caught seafood stalls.
Have lunch.
Depart for Castel del Monte, one of the most mysterious and fascinating castles in Southern Italy designed by Frederick II of Swabia.
Transfer to Bari and enjoy a free dinner.

Day 3: Sightseeing in Matera & Altamura
Have breakfast.
Depart for Matera is considered one of the most suggestive places in southern Italy and a UNESCO Site. The itinerary includes a visit to a cave-like house recently opened to the public and ancient Rupestrian churches and cisterns with your Italian tour guide.
Eat your lunch.
Depart for Altamura, which is famous for the typical PDO bread production. Altamura also boasts an interesting Medieval Cathedral built by Frederick II of Swabia and a series of noble buildings along the streets of the old town.
Taste the Pane di Altamura (local bread) at a local bakery.
Transfer to Bari and enjoy free dinner.

Day 4: Sightseeing in Bari & Alberobello
Have breakfast.
