Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara

   • Pick up from airport or place of residence in Nairobi at 7:00 am. Your safari takes you to the Maasai Mara Reserve and into the domain of the Maasai people. These Kenya’s cattle-herding tribals are seen as being determined to preserve their traditions. The Mara is home to Kenya’s richest concentration of wildlife and regarded by many travellers as an essential stopover while touring Africa. When westerners think of Africa and safari, this is the place they imagine – golden grassland plains pocked with acacia trees, wildebeests, zebras, lions, and jackals bound together by the cycle of life and death. Three days here will only scratch the surface of one of the wonders of the wild. 

   • Arrive in Maasai Mara in time for lunch.

   • After lunch, leave for an evening game drive until late evening wherein you settle for dinner and overnight stay.

   Accommodation overnight at the Lodge or Camp.

2. Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day

   • Spend this day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game reserve, where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the park. Or else,  you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives.

     • You will also have the option of visiting a local Maasai village (at the cost of US$ 20 per person).

   All meals and overnight at the Lodge or Camp.

3. Day 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi

   • After early morning breakfast at your camp, check out of the park and drive to Nairobi city.

   • Arrive in time for lunch, which will be at the world-renowned Carnivore, wherein you have the opportunity to sample crocodile or ostrich meat.

   • Afterwards, get dropped off at your respective hotel or airport.
