Kathmandu City Pagodas & Temples
Have breakfast followed by a pickup from the hotel.
Start this tour with a journey in a private vehicle. The first stop will be the World Heritage site of the Pashupatinath Hindu temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and lies on the bank of the Bagmati river. This temple is often used for the cremation of dead bodies.
Visit Swayambhunath, also called the Monkey temple and Boudhanath stupa. Witness many Mani walls, prayer bells and beautiful Buddha sculptures here.
Proceed to see the Kathmandu Durbar square (situated in front of the old royal palace of the former Kathmandu Kingdom). It is also a UNESCO heritage site and an important site for Buddhist and Hindu rituals, holy ceremonies, royal events, and kingly coronations.
