Itinerary

1. Day 1- Cuiabá - Poconé

   • Depart from Cuiabá at 08:00 am.

   • After breakfast, arrive at Poconé (Pantanal Norte - MT-060 road) by 10:00 am. Activities start at Poconé, with a safari of about 40 km through the Transpantaneira, until the entrance of the inn Canto do Arancuã that has a swimming pool. Then, we will go another 03 km until we are received by the staff here. 

   • The lunch, made up of the typical gastronomic Matogrossence, will be served around 12.00 pm. 

   • After the meal and the rest, we will go for an ecological walk in the woods for approximately 2 to 3 hours.

   • Following dinner, we will take a nocturnal car ride to observe Avida nocturnal animals like anteater, racoon, owl, tapirs and alligators with their bright eyes.

2. Day 2- Poconé - Birdwatching before Sunrise

   • The next day, the schedule includes a walk before sunrise to watch the birds in their morning awakening of the Bugios.

   • Continue after breakfast with a pleasant Kayak trip where you can see otters, monkeys, birds, iguanas, anaconda and jacares.

   • The next activity consists of a quiet walk to the Cacaloa to know the surroundings and see other animals and wild plants.

   • After lunch, we will continue our journey to Porto Jofre (settlement). At a lodge here, dinner will be served at around 07:30 p.m.

3. Day 3- Porto Jofre - Motorboat Ride

   • Our day begins with a reinforced breakfast to start the next venture, which consists of a motorboat tour equipped with a radio transmitter to facilitate the location of the painted Jaguar. This activity lasts an average of 4 hours, and it is possible to observe monkeys, iguanas, anacondas, alligators, capybara, birds, otters, otters, buffaloes. We will retake by 10:30 a.m.

   • After lunch, we will fish piranha from the port after the piranha fishery new boat trip, with an approximate duration of 3 hours and then return to the accommodation place by sunset.

4. Day 4- Transpantaneira - Cuiabá

   • After breakfast, we will start a safari to the Transpantaneira, followed by a typical lunch at the Pousada Canto do Arancuã. Another lunch option is at the Poconé town at the Panturasira churrascaria restaurant.

   • After lunch, we will continue our trip to Cuiabá city, including about 2 hours of travel time.
