Lake Baikal & Listvyanka Highlights Tour from Irkutsk
Begin with an early morning transfer to Irkutsk railway station. At 8:05 am, a special train on the Trans-Siberian Railway will go from Irkutsk to Lake Baikal, a town of Sludyanka. The train will pass along the Old Railroad towards Port Baikal.
Take a ferry or a private boat ride to Listvyanka, followed by a return transfer to Irkutsk. You can also stay in Listvjanka (instead of returning to Irkutsk) and transfer to the hotel/homestay, and accommodation can be arranged for.
Or in reverse:
Transfer from Irkutsk to harbour to Listvyanka by a public bus.
Take a ferry from Listvyanka to Port Baikal.
At 11:40 hrs, depart by train along the Old Railroad to Sludyanka, with many stops along the way. The train goes to Irkutsk on the Trans-Siberian railway. Packed lunch is included.
The arrival in Irkutsk will be at 21:38 hrs.
Transfer to the hotel/homestay in Irkutsk. You can also start this tour from Listvyanka if you have stayed in Listvyanka before.
