Kalaw & pindaya town tour
08:00: Pick up from your hotel and drive to Pindaya.
09:30: Arrive at Pindaya. Explorer its natural limestone caves housing over 8,000 Buddha Images of various sizes. It is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places of the Shan state. Learn about the umbrella making process here and it is also possible to know about their local life.
12:00: Proceed to a local restaurant for lunch.
13:00: After lunch, continue to Kalaw.
14:30: Travel to the Kalaw, which is situated about 70 km west of Taunggyi, the capital of Shan state and about 50 km from Pindaya caves. Kalaw sits high on the western edge of the Shan Plateau. It was a popular hill station during the British times. It is still a peaceful and quiet place with an atmosphere remnant of the colonial era. Witness Nee Paya, a gold lacquered bamboo Buddha. Enjoy seeing the daily life of local tribes and also taste the traditional foods of local people.
17:00: Journey back to your hotel.
18:30: Arrive at hotel.
