Description
Embark on this journey to explore the deserts of Iran and experience local life by visiting ancient villages, castles and bazaars. Travel to the Maranjab desert to marvel at the Salt Lake, followed by a stop at Wonder Island, Maranjab Caravanserai, also known as Abbasi Caravanserai. Also, visit Garmeh oasis, the remotest village in the central desert of Iran with a population of 2 people.
Itinerary

Day 1: Maranjab desert
Start from Tehran or Isfahan with your Iranian guide to make your way to the Maranjab desert.
Visit Salt Lake and Wonder Island, followed by Maranjab Caravanserai (Abbasi Caravanserai) and sand dunes.
Stay overnight in Caravanserai or Camp out in the desert.

Day 2: Aqda
Travel to Abouzeyd Abad, Badrud and Zavareh desert area. Visit a camel convoy if we are lucky.
Ride to Ardestan and visit Qanat of Ardestan which was recently registered on the UNESCO heritage list.
Continue to Aqua, a nice village in the desert.

Day 3: Yazd
Travel to Yazd to visit a complex of the ancient water reservoir of Ahmad Abad, the Chack-Chak fire temple, and the ancient village of Kharanaq on the way.

Day4: Yazd
Visit the tower of silence and Dowlat Abad garden
Travel to Amir Chakhmaq Sq, Jameh mosque
Shop around the Bazaar of Yazd.

Day 5: Meymand
Travel to Meymand rocky village with 10000 years of history registered on the UNESCO heritage list.
Make some stops to visit the ancient Jameh mosque of Fahraj, one of the oldest mosques in Iran, and Sar Yazd castle, which belongs to the Sassanid era.

Day: Shahdad
Ride to Mahan and visit Shazdeh Garden (surrounded by desert) before travelling toward Shahdad.

Day 7: Kerman
Visit the Lut Desert (registered on the UNESCO heritage list), the most amazing desert of Iran and one of the hottest places in the world.
Then make your way to the Kaluts and salty river.
Travel to Rayen, visit Arg-e Rayen (Rayen Citadel).
Ride back to Kerman and visit the Ganjalikhan complex (an old public bath) with its wax sculptures and old bazaar of Kerman.

Day 8: Tabas
Travel to Tabas; on the way, visit an old Caravanserai and Naiband, a village surrounded by palm trees.

Day 9: Khur
Travel to Khur and visit the salt lake on the way.
Visit Garmeh oasis, a ride to the remotest village in the central desert of Iran with two people population.

Day 10: Anarak
Travel to Anarak and visit Choopanan on the way, a beautiful village with a wind tower on the roof of houses.
Take some photos and continue to Anarak a short stop there and drive to an off-road route toward a remote village and enjoy the silence and scenery of the area.

Day 11: Varzaneh
Drive toward Naieen, visit the historic Jame mosque of Naieen and travel to Varzaneh desert village.
Hike through sandhills and visit Gav Chah (irrigation system by a bull), camel mill.
Head towards pigeon tower and salt lake.
Stay overnight in a guesthouse or camp in the middle of dunes. (B.L.D)

Day 12: Isfahan
Drive toward Isfahan and visit historical bridges and Naghshe Jahan square, the second biggest square in the world, palaces of the Safavid dynasty.
Shop at the Isfahan bazaar.

Day 13: Departure - Isfahan
Transfer to the airport. (B)
