Visit the town of Dalai Lama as you begin the challenging trek up to the Indrahar Pass at Dhauladhar range. Explore the mesmerizing ambience of Triund and Laka Got. Walk through the paths used by shepherds to reach Kangra Valley from Chamba Valley.
Itinerary

Day 1: Mcleodganj to Triund
Once you reach the meeting point in Mcleod Ganj, you will be received by the tour guide and will then start the trek to Triund.
The trek goes through a mixed forest of oak, rhododendron and deodar trees.
The first two kilometres make a gentle climb, but there is a steep ascent in the last leg of the trek.
Triund is a flat meadow on top of a ridge. From here, enjoy the panoramic view of the Dhauladhar range on one side and Kangra valley on the other.
Night stay in tents or private houses.

Day 2: Triund to Lahesh cave (Height 3500m, Distance 6Km)
This is an acclimatization day.
- After a short ascent from Triund, traverse a trail from the ridge to reach Laka Got, a temporary shepherd camp.
- Laka Got is situated at the snout of the small glacier, which is full of snow and ice in early summer, and the snow melts away during the monsoon.
- From Laka Got, it is a steep ascent for two kilometres over a rocky ridge to reach Lahesh Cave.
Night stay at the camp in Lahesh Cave.

Day 3: Lahesh cave to Chatta Paro (Height 4350m, Distance 10km)
- Climb to Indrahaar pass 4,350 m. An early start is recommended.
- After climbing Indrahaar Pass, have lunch at Nag Dal Lake and start trekking to stay at Chatta in a small cave.

Day 4: Chatta Paro to Kuwarsi village (Height 2730m, Distance 14 km)
- The stretch up to Chatta Nullah is 6 km descent. Cross the stream and walk past a long pasture land before into a thick forest of pines.
- Kuwarsi is a small, trivial village surrounded by thickly wooded pine trees. Here, we will rest for the night.

Day 5: Kuwarsi to Sur (Distance 18km)
- A six-hour adventurous walk where the path has been cut into the vertical mountainside.
- During this walk, one also gets a glorious view of the river Ravi apart from the rest of the picturesque walk.
Night stay at Sur village in tents.

Day 6: Sur village to Bharmour (Distance 10 km)
- A short gradual ascent to Bharmour from where one gets to view the famous Chaurasi temples built-in one complex as well as enjoy the natural beauty of this valley.
- Relax for the rest of the day and enjoy the scenic natural beauty.
Night stay at a hotel in Bharmour.

Day 7: Bharmour to Dharamshala (Distance220km)
- A short drive to Chamba from Bharmour can view the famous Laxmi Narayan temple and the Bhuri Singh Museum also housing Kangra paintings.
- From here, we take a cool night drive back to Dharamshala by jeep.
This will be the end of the tour.
