Description
Proceed to Fàtima, the religious capital of Portugal to explore the various religious spots of the town. Admire the world-famous Church of the Holy Trinity, which is considered to be the 4th biggest Catholic Temple in the world and the Valinhos in the neighbourhood, where you have the opportunity to visit the houses of the 3 shepherds. Itinerary

Visit the Sanctuary & Valinhos
Depart from Lisbon directly to Fátima on highway A1 with your Fatima tour guide. The trip will take us about 1 hr 30 mins one way (130 km one way).
- Visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, a group of Catholic religious buildings and structures in Cova da Iria, in the civil parish of Fátima. Once arrived, the Fatima guide will give some useful information, outside the churches, about the Sanctuary. Millions of pilgrims go there to pay their promises, to pray or just to feel its mystical strength. The Sanctuary Square is so big that it can only be described by numbers. It can receive simultaneously 300.000 to 500.000 visitors and it's almost twice the size of St. Peter's Square in the Vatican.
- Visit the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity. Designed by Greek Orthodox architect Alexandros Tombazis, who combined light and technology in a circular structure.
Drive to Valinhos in the neighbourhood, where you have the opportunity to visit the houses of the 3 shepherds.
- Explore the area more in about 45 mins of free time.
Return to Lisbon.
