Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival at Cairo

   • Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, meet and be assisted through customs and formalities, then transferred to your hotel. 

   • Rest of the day is at leisure. 

   Overnight in Cairo.

2. Day 2: City Tour

   • Visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses the world's largest collection of artifacts from the era of the pharaohs, including some belonging to King Tut.

   • Tour Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt.

   • Explore sites like the Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Moallaka Church, where the Virgin Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus took refuge. 

   • Spend the afternoon at the Great Pyramids of Giza and the defending Sphinx. 

   • End the day at the bazaar of Khan El Khalili. Sound and Light Show available this evening.

3. Day 3: Rest Day

   • This day is at leisure.

   • Optional Excursion to Alexandria available today. Go on a morning drive to Alexandria across the desert road, where you will visit the Catacomb of Kom El Shukafa, Alexandria National Museum, the Library of Alexandria and more. In the late afternoon, drive back to Cairo.

4. Day 4: Aswan

   • Transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. 

   • Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, transfer to visit your Deluxe Nile Cruise Boat for a 5-day/4-night Nile cruise. Accommodations aboard will consist of an Outside Cabin with private facilities. 

   • In the afternoon, sail by felucca for an outside visit to the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island.

5. Day 5: City Tour

   • Visit the High Dam, Old Dam, Philae Temple, and the Granite Quarries.
   • Sail to Edfu.

6. Day 6: Luxor

   • Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the best-preserved of all the large Egyptian Temples. 
   • Sail to Luxor.

7. Day 7 :Nile River & Sightseeing

   • Cross the Nile to the West Bank. 
   • Visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Colossi of Memnon, Queen Hatshepsut Funerary Temple, and the Valley of the Kings and Queens. Sound and Light Show available this evening.

8. Day 8: Sightseeing

   • Explore Luxor Temple dedicated to the god Amon-Ra. It was expanded by Ramses II, who added statues of himself. Visit the magnificent Karnak Temple. 

   • After disembarkation, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo. 

   • Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel.

9. Day 9: Departure

   • Transfer to Cairo Airport for your return flight. (B)
