Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

   • Rise early and enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel.

   • Meet the local tour guide and drive to Amboseli National Park. 

   • Stop for a game drive on the way to the lodge.

   • Upon arrival, explore the wide variety of exotic birds and other wild animals.

   • Visit the underground springs fed from the melting snow of Mount Kilimanjaro.

   • Stop for lunch at the lodge before departing for an afternoon 'spice' game drive.

   • Return to the lodge and enjoy a scrumptious dinner.

   Overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar.

2. Day 2: Amboseli National Park

   • Rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit.

   • Set off for a 'Spice' game drive.

   • Later, visit a Masai village after breakfast.

   • Stop for lunch and go for another game drive right after.

   Overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar.

3. Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park

   • Depart Amboseli after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.

   • Stop for lunch at a restaurant in Nairobi and reach the park in time for an afternoon game drive.

   • See buffalo, rhino, giraffe, zebra, antelope and the lions that prey on them as well as vast flocks of flamingos near the lakeshore.

   • The local tour guide will tell you that Lake Nakuru has the highest concentration of flamingos in the world and is home to over three hundred bird species. It is a sanctuary for both the Black and White Rhinos.

   • Supper is served at the lodge overlooking the lake.

4. Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara Game Reserve

   • After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve.

   • Travel through the Masai country occasionally coming across Masai herdsmen with their livestock living harmoniously with the wildlife.

   • After lunch, go for a game drive through these rolling grasslands.

   • During the stay, visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.

   Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.

5. Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve

   • Go for morning and afternoon game drives in this magnificent Park.

   • You can also experience the Annual Wildebeest Migration between the months of July and October.

   Overnight at Sarova Tented Camp or similar.

6. Day 6: Masai Mara to Nairobi

   • An early morning game drive is planned before returning to the camp or lodge for an English breakfast.

   • The rest of the day is spent at leisure for last-minute shopping and sightseeing.

   • In the evening, transfer to the airport for departure.
