Explore the Trans-Himalayan region of Spiti Valley, dip in the hot spring at Manikaran and Kheerganga and enjoy the sharp contrast in the landscapes from lush green Manali to that of dry Spiti and Kinnaur Valley.
Itinerary

Day 1: Manali - Manikaran - Barsaini - Kheerganga (2,960 m)
Meet your tour guide and then take a short drive to Barsaini above Manikaran.
Start walking towards Tosh Nala. After the Nagthan Village, the walk is along the river Parvati and then through dense forests to Kheerganga, amidst the forest.
Take bath in the natural hot spring to wash away your fatigue.
Camp at Khirganga and see a wonderful sunset in the evening.

Day 2: Kheerganga - Tunda Bhuj (3,500 m)
Take a beautiful walk through the forest and green meadows.
Reach Tundra Bhuj, which is a beautiful camping place.

Day 3: TundaBhuj - Thakur Kuan (3,570 m)
Get acclimatized before moving to a higher elevation on the trek. Today we get to see the glacier that eventually feeds the Parvati river.
Camp for overnight stay.

Day 4: Thakur Kuan - Odi Thach (3,620 m)
See the landscape change from lush green forest and meadows and enter into the mountains, glaciers and moraines.
Camp here for a night stay and get a beautiful view of the high mountain peaks.

Day 5: Odi Thach - Mantalai (3,700 m)
Take a gradual ascent to a vast glacial moraine Mantalai Lake, which is the source of river Parvati.
Get a beautiful view of the high Himalayan peaks.

Day 6: Mantalai - Base of Pin Parvati Pass (4,300 m)
Take a steep ascent and reach the base of Pin Parvati Pass.
Camp here for an overnight stay and get a beautiful view of the Himalayan peaks and Parvati glacier.

Day 7: Base - Pin Parvati Pass - Spiti Valley (5,200 m)
Take a steep ascent and walk over the glacier to reach the top of the pass.
Cross the pass and enter into the Spiti valley.
See a great change in the landscape-the green side of the Kullu valley is suddenly replaced by a dry desert of Spiti valley. This is rich in wildlife and has been declared as a National Park with a habitat for the snow leopard, musk deer and ibex.
Walk down to the other side of the pass to camp at the base.

Day 8: Base II - Wichurang Thatch (3,600 m)
Get down to the area where you will begin to see some signs of human habitation.
Duration: 6-7 hours.

Day 9: Wichurang Thach to Mud village (3,500 M)
See an oasis in the middle of the desert and reach Mud, the first village in Spiti valley.
Camp here for an overnight stay.
Duration: 4-5 hours.

Day 10: Mud Village - Kaza
Drive to Kaza and check in to the hotel.
Visit the Key Monastery in the afternoon, which is located a few km above Kaza.
Proceed to Kibber, which is one of the highest permanently inhabited villages in the world.
Overnight stay in hotel in Kaza.

Day 11: Kaza - Kinnaur Valley
Enter from Spiti to Kinnaur valley.
Get beautiful views of the holy Kinner Kailash mountain from Kalpa.
