Description
Embark on a thrilling trek to Everest Base Camp via pine forests, river valleys, waterfalls, rocky terrains, glaciers and marvel at some of the world's most dramatic skylines. Take a steep climb up to the beautiful village of Namche Bazaar, pay a visit to the Tengboche Monastery and witness stunning sunrises over Khumbu, Pumori, Lhotse and Munzu. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Pick-up from the airport and transfer to the hotel for stay.

Day 2: Gear checks and sightseeing tour
Go on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city.
Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2,860 m) & Trek to Monjo (2,835 m)
Take a flight to Lukla.
Reach Lukla and trek to Phakding over an arresting, green landscape alongside views of Kusum Kangraru.
Stay overnight at Yeti Mountain Home.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)
Have an early breakfast and begin with a slight climb to Munzu, passing by waterfalls and other culturally and naturally occurring items of interest.
Walk through the beautiful Pine forest and from some point can be seen the first view of Mt. Everest. Thamserku (6,648 m), Kwangde Ri (6,187 m) and Khumbila (5,707 m) surround the natural bowl that Namche sits in.
Take a steep climb up to the beautiful village of Namche Bazaar (3,440 m). Namche Bazaar is a gateway to Mt. Everest and the main trading centre of this region.
Stay overnight at Yeti Mountain Home.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day
Spend a day here to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning of the air pressure.
Take a short trek in and around Namche Bazaar and see the rewarding views of the Himalayas with a stunning sunrise and sunset over the panorama of Khumbu peaks.
Stay overnight at Khumbu lodge or Yeti Mountain/ Guesthouse.

Day 6: Namche - Tengboche Monastery (3,860 m) - 6-7 hours
- Make a descent to the small hamlet of Phunki Tenga beside the Dudh Kosi.
- Cross a suspension bridge before beginning a steep ascent for about an hour. This trek part is quite heavily forested by rhododendron and pine, so it is well shaded and cool. Once out of the forest, the trail becomes gentle and gradual for another 1.5 hours, all the way up to the monastery.
- The setting of Tengboche is magical, and it is incredible to think that the temple was burned down a few years ago and re-built primarily through the efforts of the Sir Edmund Hillary Trust.
- Please return to the accommodation after lunch and exploration of the monastery and its surroundings.

Day 7: Trek to Dingboche (4,410 M)
Continue the uphill trek.
Reach the quaint traditional Sherpa village of Dingboche with its exquisite Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam views.
Stay overnight at the Hotel Country Site.

Day 8: Rest Day in Dingboche
Enjoy another day for acclimatization.
Take a trip to Nagajang viewpoint to get a marvellous view of the surrounding mountains, especially Lhotse’s massive south wall.
Return to Dingboche in the evening.
Stay overnight at the Hotel country site.

Day 9: Trek to Lobuche (4,910 m) - 5 Hours
Continue along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and pass by stone memorials for climbers who have perished on nearby summits.
Head to the altitude of 4,910 m at Lobuche, which is really just a few huts at the foot of a giant Lobuche peak.
Stay at Hotel Oxygen or a similar class guesthouse. Accommodation with common toilet and bathroom.

Breathing problems may arise today due to the altitude.

Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,365 m) - Gorakshep (5,180 m)- 8 Hours
Walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp at 5365 m.
See the Khumbu Icefall from Base Camp.
Return to Gorakshep for the night.
Stay overnight at Hotel Yeti or a similar class Guesthouse. Accommodation with shared toilet and bathroom.

Day 11: Hike Up to Kala Patthar (5,555 m) & Trek Down to Pheriche - 7 Hours
Climb Mt. Kalapatthar, a small peak (by Himalayan standards) at 5555m. The ascent is demanding, but the climber gets the most magnificent mountain panorama: Everest, the highest point on the planet at 8848 m, Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, Lhotse countless others.
Make a quick descent to Gorak Shep, a tiny hamlet at 5180 m.
Trek down to Pangboche village.
Stay overnight at the best available lodge.

Day 12: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,840 m) - 7 Hours
- Make a descent that will take you through Tengboche Monastery at an elevation of 3,860 m.
- Continue back to the town of Namche Bazaar at 3441 m.
- Return to Namche Bazaar in the afternoon.
Stay overnight at Yeti Mountain Home or Khumbu lodge.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 13: Trek to Lukla (2,804 m) - 6 Hours
Return to Lukla.
Explore the town.
Stay overnight at Paradise Lodge or a similar lodge.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 14: Flight Back to Kathmandu and Farewell Dinner
- Enjoy the last glimpse of the mountains you have recently visited for one last time on the 35-minute scenic and adventurous flight back to Kathmandu.
- On arrival in Kathmandu, get transferred to the hotel.
- Attend the farewell dinner program at a Nepali restaurant.
- See some cultural performances.
