Itinerary

1. Day 1: Thiruvananthapuram - Kovalam

   • Arrive at Thiruvananthapuram and meet with the tour guide.
   • Visit the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple. The Hindu temple is known for its unique Chera style of architecture, and its main deity is Lord Vishnu. The temple has been something of an enigma, mainly because of its reputation as one of the richest in the world and the treasures it holds in its vaults.  
   • Go shopping in the local markets.
   • Visit the Poovar backwaters. The Poovar backwaters are rich in flora and fauna. While cruising through the Poovar backwaters, one can easily spot water birds like Kingfisher, Brahminy Kite, Night Heron, Sea Egret, Black Darter, Indian Cormorant eagle and many more. 
   • Overnight stay at the hotel.

2. Day 2: Kovalam

   • Visit local places, including Napier Museum, Sri Chitra Art Gallery,  Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, and Veli Tourist Village, which has an excellent waterfront park with a wide range of aqua entertainment facilities like fishponds, wading pools, and landscaped garden. 

   • Watch the stunning sunset at Shangumugham Beach.

   • Overnight stay at the hotel.

3. Day 3: Kovalam - Kanyakumari

   • Visit the following places in Kanyakumari:

     • Vivekananda Rock Memorial

     • Thiruvalluvar Statue

     • Padmanabhapuram Palace

     • Thanumalayan Temple

     • Kumari Amman Temple

     • Vattakottai Fort.

   • Overnight stay at the hotel.

4. Day 4: Ponmudi Hill Station

   • Go sightseeing in all places around Ponmudi, including the Kallar forest. 

   • Overnight stay in Ponmudi Hill Station.

5. Day 5: Ponmudi Hill Station - Thiruvananthapuram

   • Go for an early morning sightseeing in Ponmudi.

   • Depart for Thiruvananthapuram.
