Itinerary

1. Day1: Arrival at Nanyuki

   • Arrive at Nairobi.

   • Start your trip by driving to Nanyuki, which is the base camp of Mount Kenya.

   Stay overnight at Nanyuki.

2. Day 2: Trek uphill to Old Moses Camp

   • Drive to the Sirimon park gate after an early breakfast.

   • Have lunch there and then begin trekking.

   • Follow the uphill track for 10 km to Old Moses camp which is situated at 3,300M.

   Have dinner and stay overnight at Old Moses camp.

3. Day 3: Trek through Ontulili, Liki North & Mackinders Valley to reach Shipton's Camp

   • Leave Old Moses Camp at 8:00 AM after breakfast.

   • Cross several small streams on the way to reach the crest of the ridge between the Ontulili and Liki North Valleys.

   • Continue trekking through Mackinders valley and Shipton's camp (4250M).

   Have dinner and stay overnight at Shipton's camp.

4. Day 4: Trek to Point Lenana and return to Old Moses

   • Wake up at 2:00 AM, have tea and biscuits and leave for the Lenana summit at 3:00 AM. This section of journey can be a little hard and long as the path can be a little difficult to trek. 

   • Reach point Lenana at around 6:30 AM to catch the sunrise.

   • Descend down to Shipton's camp after enjoying the view and taking pictures.

   • Trek further downhill to reach Old Moses for dinner.

   Stay overnight at Old Moses.

5. Day 5: Return back to Nairobi

   • Depart for Sirimon gate post breakfast.

   • Drive to Nanyuki for lunch.

   • After lunch, proceed to Nairobi via road.

   • Expect to reach Nairobi by 6:30 PM.

   The car will drop you off at Nairobi.
