Itinerary

1. Day 1: Palembang City Tour

   • Land in Palembang and start your tour by going to the famous Asian Games venue, Jakabaring Sport City. It can accommodate more than 35,000 people. The stadium is used for numerous athletic sports, especially soccer.

   • Visit the Cheng Ho Mosque, a Mosque with Chinese Architecture. It was founded by the initiative of the senior members of the Chinese Islamic Association of Indonesia.

   • Feel the softness of Songket, the signature fabric of Palembang.

   • Stop by Baba boen tjit House, located in Lorong Saudagar Yucing, said to be 300 years old and combines the design of old-school Chinese with Palembang traditional house. 

   • Make your final stop at Kiai Marogan Mosque, built in 1871 as the place for Muslim to pray. Masagus Abdul Hamid built kiai Marogan Mosque. 

2. Day 2: Pulau Kemarau & Palembang

   • After you have a good breakfast, visit Pulau Kemarau, an island in the middle of Musi river banks, the place of a Chinese prince & Muslim princess's ancient love story.

   • Set out to see Kampung Arab Al-Munawar, an ancient Arabian village with sophisticated architecture.

   • Study the Benteng Kuto Besak Plaza, which is a lookalike of the St.Peter Square in the Vatican city and the Tugu Belido Fish, which is similar to the Merlion in Singapore.

   • Continue to Palembang Culture & Historical Museum, Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin the 2nd Museum and The Great Mosque of Palembang.

   • Pay a visit to Kerajinan Leuker, the signature Cupboard Carving of Palembang.
