Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kualanamu Airport - Lake Toba

   • Arrive at Kualanamu airport and meet with your local guide

   • Drive to Lake Toba via Pematang Siantar, stopping by the big Statue of Kwan at the Kwan Temple.

   • Go on a relaxing ferry ride to Samosir Island and check in at your hotel there.

2. Day 2: Samosir Island

   • Visit the King Stone Grave, a Royal graveyard containing tombs decorated with Batak tribal carvings & a circle of stone chairs.

   • Go to Tomok village, which is well-known as the gateway to Samosir. Here, you can find the sarcophagus, the big stone chieftain of Sidabutar.

   • Get your toes wet at the Parbaba Mountain beach and Sigaretten Lake and take in the beautiful sights. 

   • Drive back to your hotel.

3. Day 3: Berastagi

   • Check out from your hotel and cross the lake to the mainland of Sumatra.

   • Drive to Berastagi.

   • On the way, stop at Simarjarunjung Hill, Sipiso Piso waterfall (120m), the fruit market and Gundaling Hill to see spectacular sunset views. 

   • Check-in at your hotel at Berastagi.

4. Day 4: Medan

   • Check out from your hotel and drive to Medan.

   • Stop at Lumbini Tower and arrive at Medan.

   • Visit the Maimun palace, an istana of the Sultanate of Deli and a well-known landmark in Medan, the capital city of Northern Sumatra, Indonesia.

   • Marvel at the Grand Mosque. Its architectural style combines Middle Eastern, Indian and Spanish elements.  

   • Transfer to Kuala Namu Airport to catch your return flights back home.
