Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Arrival & Sightseeing in Bagan

   • Arrive in Bagan and meet your tour guide at an agreed-upon location.

   • Go to the most significant Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine.

   • Visit Ku Byauk Gyi and Kay Min Ga temples, noted for their panoramic view of the area’s numerous monuments.

   • Proceed to Ananda Temple to witness the four standing Buddha images.

   • Learn about the manufacturing of Myanmar’s most-treasured handicrafts during the afternoon.

   • Visit a lacquerware craftsmen’s workshop in nearby Myinkaba village to marvel at the finely crafted objects.

   • Continue towards Manuha Temple, built in Mon style in 1059.

   • Explore the Nanpaya Temple, a unique sandstone monument which according to legends used to be the palace site of King Manuha.

   • End the day by witnessing a splendid sunset over the majestic Ayeyarwaddy River from a temple top.

2. Day 2 - Bagan Cooking class

   • Have a full and hearty breakfast.

   • Go to the famous Bagan Cooking Class for a memorable and tasty experience.

   • Get welcomed with open arms and genuine Burmese hospitality by the host upon arrival at a typical home.

   • Take a short tour of the home before going into the local-style kitchen. Although basic compared to modern kitchens, you will be amazed by the wonderful food that is prepared with simple tools and appliances.

3. Day 3 - Depart from Bagan

   • Have a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel.

   • Transfer to the airport for departure.
