Itinerary

1. Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Gorge

   • Cross the spectacular Tizi n' Tichka Pass of the High Atlas mountains with your Moroccan tour guide. Stop to visit two Kasbahs, Ait Ben Haddou and Kasbah Telouet. Drive through these two Kasbahs, and make another quick stop to look at the Salt Caves.

   • Drive onwards passing through many Berber villages and observe the Skoura oasis, Kalaat Mâgoun and the groves of spectacular olive trees on the barren hillsides clustered with Kasbahs traditional Berber houses.

   • After lunch, drive further to the Valley of the Roses, with beautiful views of the Dades valley also known as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.

   Overnight stay in the Dades Valley in a hotel on half board.

2. Day 2: Dades Gorge to Merzouga & visit Todgha Gorge

   • Head to the destination of Merzouga for the day. On the way, pass through Tinghir and visit the local primaries.

   • Stop at the Todgha Gorge, where you will walk through the gorge and take in the spectacular canyon views.

   • Drive onwards, passing many Berber villages at Erfoud, a famous area for fossils. Get a chance to observe the process of cleaning and to polish the fossils and also see the finished products. Vist Tifilalte oasis eventually reaching Camp Erg Chaabi in Merzouga.

   • Meet with your guide and go on a 1 hour 30 minutes camel ride to reach the camp to admire the glorious sunset views.

   Overnight stay in a camp on half board.

3. Day 3: Merzouga Desert to Marrakech

   • Wake up early to appreciate the stunning desert sunrises.

   • Ride for another 1 hour 30 minutes on your camel to reach back to Merzouga.

   • Return to Marrakech through Ouarzazate, where you can enjoy your lunch. At Ouarzazate, visit a Kasbah and a cinema studio depending upon time availability.
