Itinerary

1. Day 1: Tarangire National Park

   • Get picked up after a very early breakfast and transfer you to Tarangire National Park. The park has the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem. There are large herds of elephants, lions, wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests, waterbucks, elands, and a variety of birds.

2. Day 2: Serengeti National Park

   • Drive to Serengeti National Park after an early breakfast. Serengeti is the oldest and most popular national park and is considered among the 7 natural wonders of Africa. You will see plentiful groups of animals and birds, including the Big 5.

   • Lunch box will be provided.

   Dinner and overnight, either at a campsite or a lodge.

3. Day 3: Serengeti National Park

   • Have a morning and evening game drive.

   • You can also go for a hot air balloon safari if you wish to.

4. Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and visit Oldupai/Olduvai Gorge. Remains of the earliest humans were found at Oldupai/Olduvai Gorge, and it is one of the most famous archaeological sites in East Africa. Ngorongoro is a site of the largest unbroken caldera in the world and home to over 25,000 large animals, including black rhinoceros. It also has the densest population of lions. 

5. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

   • After a light breakfast, we go for a morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. 

   • Hot lunch is served before leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation area.

6. Day 6: Lake Natron/Lake Eyasi

   • After an early breakfast, drive to either Lake Natron or Lake Eyasi. Both options offer unique, remote landscapes with opportunities for exposure to rich cultural traditions.

   • Box lunch provided.

   Dinner and overnight, either at a campsite or a lodge, depending on your preference.

7. Day 7: Lake Natron/Lake Eyasi

   • Enjoy some adventure activities early morning.

   • Have lunch.

   • Return to either Arusha or Moshi.

   End of tour.
