Sightseeing in Kochi
Meet with the Indian tour guide and begin your journey from Fort Kochi, a charming seaside area known for its Dutch, Portuguese, and British colonial architecture. St. Francis Church, situated in this fort, was the original burial site of explorer Vasco da Gama.
Head towards the beachside to the famous Chinese Fishing Nets, locally called Cheenvala. The nets have a unique design, and four fishermen operate one of these nets built of bamboo and teak poles.
Stroll along the white sands of Fort Kochi Beach. The clean waters and tranquil atmosphere will refresh you.
Take a walking tour of the heritage city of Fort Kochi. Your guide will tell you the history and the present conditions of the city and how the Portuguese, Dutch and British influenced these regions.
Proceed to the past residence of the Rajas of Kochi and admire the murals of the Dutch Palace at Mattancherry.
