Walking Tour in Ephesus
Visit the Odeon, a semi-circular theatre initially constructed in the 2nd century A.D.
Proceed to the Domitian Temple with your local tour guide. It is one of the most significant structures of Ephesus’ Roman era. Built in the 1st century AD, this temple was dedicated to the Roman Emperor Domitian, who ruled the empire from 81-96 AD.
Take a walk to the Trajan's Fountain, built to the north end of Curetes Street on the east side, next to the Hadrian Temple.
Next, we reach Celsus Library, the third-largest library in the Roman world, behind Alexandria and Pergamum.
Your Turkish tour guide will also take you to the State Agora, the political heart of the Roman Ephesus.
Next, proceed to the House of The Virgin Mary, a typical Roman architectural example, entirely made of stones.
End the day with a visit to the Church of Saint John.
