Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu Airport
- Meet the airport representative who will be waiting for your arrival with your name placard, after which you will be transferred to your hotel by private car/van/bus, which takes about 20 minutes. They will inform you about the trip and fix the appointment with your trekking leader for the next afternoon.

Day 2: Rest and preparation day in Kathmandu
- Today, you will rest and prepare for your trip, like sorting your equipment for the trek.
- Your trekking guide will meet you in the afternoon and will give detailed information about your trip. If you need any help, feel free to ask your guide, he would be happy to settle your problem.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla
- Depart for Lukla early in the morning and arrive at Tenzing and Hillary Airport. On your arrival at the Lukla airport after a 35-minute scenic flight from Kathmandu, you will meet your guide, who will brief you shortly about today before you begin your trek towards Phakding.
- Here, you can explore the town and take some pictures of the shortest and most technical airstrip in the world while the small planes are landing and taking off.
- Then begin your trek by walking along the Dudh Kosi River, descending gently until Thado Koshi and passing through Chaurikharka and Ghat to approach Phakding.

Day 4: Trek 6 hours to Namche Bazaar
- Now you head on to Namche Bazaar, walking along the bank of the Dudh Koshi River and crossing it many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags.
- After entering Sagamartha National Park, the trail ascends steeply with breathtaking views. Namche Bazaar is the Gateway to Everest and is home to many quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchange, internet cafes and a bakery. It is one of the biggest villages along the whole Everest trail.

Day 5: Hike up to Everest View Hotel
- After breakfast, hike up to the Hotel Everest View, from where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the Himalayas, including Everest.
- You will pass through the Syangboche airport before returning to Namche Bazaar for your lunch.
- You can explore the town on your own for the whole afternoon.

Day 6: Trek 6 hours to Tengboche Monastery
- Head towards Tengboche at the elevation of 3868m, 15 minutes up to Chorkyang as a starter, continue the trek along the western slope of Dudh Koshi River while enjoying the magnificent views of the mountains and drop down Funki Tenga at the elevation of 3200m, followed by a steep climb after lunch to approach the famous Tengboche Monastery.
- After reaching the Tengboche monastery, you can see stunning views of the Himalayan panorama from the top of the hill, where Hillary and Tenzin get blessed on the way to their historic summit of Mt. Everest.
- The regular prayer ceremony in the Monastery will commence at around 3-4 in the evening, where you will be taken to observe the ceremony.

Day 7: Trek 6 hours to Dingboche
- Continue walking down the trail to Debuche, passing along the dense rhododendron forest, and crossing a modern iron bridge on the Imja Khola from where the trail rises to Pangboche, passing by several Mani walls and Manis.
- The trail continues gently to Somare, and after walking for 2 more hours up to Dingboche, you can enjoy superb views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam.

Day 8: Hike up to Nangkartshang Peak
- After breakfast, hike up to Nangkartshang peak (5100m), from where you get the first sight of Mount Makalu and a 360-degree view of the Himalayas, and then return to Dingboche.
- You can explore the town independently the whole afternoon.

Day 9: Trek 5 hours to Lobuche
- Climb towards Lobuche, gaining 500m vertical height, beginning with a 15-minute steep up to a Chorten. The trail climbs through the valley gradually to Dugla at the end of the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier.
- After an hour-long climb, you will reach the emotional ridge where there are hundreds of memorials in praise to the climbers who have died in this region, and from where you will find yourselves surrounded by beautiful peaks.
- Continue up the trail to Lobuche, a small town with just a few lodges, from where you can enjoy the beautiful view of sunset on Nuptse.

Day 10: Trek 5 hours to Everest Base Camp
- Begin walking early in the morning from Lobuche to Gorakshep, along the left side of the well-known Khumbu glacier.
- After lunch, march on to Everest Base Camp, which takes about 5 hours round trip from Gorakshep.
- Head back to Gorakshep after enjoying the spectacular view of Khumbu Icefall.

Day 11: Climb up to Kala Patthar
- Start the day with the steep ascent to Kalapatthar, a small peak with the most magnificent mountains and the closest view of Everest.
- Now descend to Pheriche via Gorakshep, picking our stuff up from there, taking a slightly different route from Dugla to Pheriche.

Day 12: Trek 6 hours to Namche Bazaar
- Head down to Namche Bazaar while taking almost the same route you took on your ascension, and pass through the Tengboche monastery, where you can taste a piece of fresh-baked bakery.

Day 13: Trek 7 hours to Lukla to reach Everest Base Camp
- Walk all the way to Lukla from where you had started your trek.
- Stop in Phakding to finish your great trip to Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar.
- Enjoy a party at night.

Day 14: Fly out from Lukla to Kathmandu
- Today, you can fly out to Kathmandu on a 35-minute scenic flight and enjoy a relaxed afternoon there.

Day 15: A full day of sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley
- You can spend the day on a sightseeing tour around Kathmandu Valley. The notable places to visit are -

Day 16: Transfer to international airport for your final departure
- Today, you can do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs or gifts until your departure flight/drive or to commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us.
- You'll be transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onward destination if departing.
