Once called the “land of a million elephants” and one of the last places to see old Indo-China culture, the city also shows Laos’ isolation from foreign influence and offers travellers an unparalleled glimpse of traditional Southeast Asian life.

Day 1: Arrival in Luang Prabang
Upon your arrival at Luang Prabang International airport by your flight, you will be met and picked up by your local guide and driver, have your private transfer for check in to your hotel.
Have some rest and make an appointment with your guide when to start the sightseeing, including a visit to Mount Phousi.
Drive from the hotel before walking up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa, as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River.
From there, we explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by the hill tribe and local people surrounding Luang Prabang.
Meals: Dinner.

Day 2: Luang Prabang - Buddha Cave
After breakfast, continue your holiday in Luang Prabang by starting with the temple of Wat Xieng Thong, a magnificent piece of architecture nestled at the meeting of the Mekong and Nam Khan River. The temple structures are decorated in various ways with gilded stuccoes as well as doorways, and the main sim has a marvellous 'tree life' mosaic pattern on an outer wall.
Embark on a boat for a leisurely trip on the Mekong River, stopping en-route at Ban Muangkeo to see the production of and to sample the local rice wine.
Upon leaving this village, you will pass through the stunning mountain landscape to the mysterious Buddha Caves. These two linked caves are crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes; all brought there by devout villagers.
Return to hotel and spend free time at leisure.
Overnight in Luangprabang.

Day 3: Luang Prabang - Kouangsi waterfall
An optional early start gives you an incredible opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (ubiquitous sticky rice) from the faithful residents.
From there you will visit the morning market, return to the hotel. After your breakfast, prepare for a leisurely day.
The exploration of Luang Prabang would be not complete without a visit to the National Museum at the former Royal Palace. This interesting structure displays a lovely collection of treasures and artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign.
Drive to Kwangsi waterfall by passing some verdant and rugged scenery on our way to visiting some hill tribe people at Ban Lao Soung and Ban Ou. Here we take a walk to the beautiful Kwang Si waterfalls, where water tumbles over multi-tiered limestone formations into cool and crystal clear pools, ideal for anyone seeking an enjoyable escape when the heat becomes unbearable. These waterfalls are a paradise setting surrounded by lush forest.
Visit the best weaving center in Luang Prabang called “Ock Pop Tok” and learn about the traditional ways of weaving in Laos which has been passed down from one generation to another.
Return to hotel and spend free time at leisure.

You are free to explore more in Luang Prabang until being transferred to the airport for your flight home.
