Day 1: Arrival and City tour of Addis Ababa
Arrive at the Addis Ababa airport. Your tour manager will greet you and transfer you to your hotel.
- Check into your hotel, get some rest, and eat a scrumptious lunch.
- In the afternoon, embark on a city tour of Addis Ababa. You will visit National Museum, which displays an impressive collection of artifacts and eco-facts, including the fossil of “Lucy” that dates back by 3.2 million years back. You will also visit the Ethnographic Museum and go to the Entoto mountain where Addis Ababa was established.
- Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day: Fly to Gonder; Drive to Semien Mountains
- Check out from your hotel to catch a flight to Gonder. From the Gonder Airport, drive north for 121 kilometres, passing Debark to reach Sanka Ber, where the headquarters of Simien Mountains National Park is located.
- Set out for a walk around the incredible Simien Mountains. Try to spot the Gelada baboon (referred to as "the bleeding heart" by the BBC), a mammal endemic to Ethiopia. You will also get a chance to spot other endemic mammals like Walia Ibex and Semien Fox.
Overnight stay.

Day 3: Trek to Immetgogo
After a hearty breakfast, begin a 6-hour trek towards Immetgogo. Carrying only your lunch box and your backpack, you will be accompanied by your guide and scout. However, your camping gear will be carried out by the mule and will be monitored by the cook.
Arrive in Immetgogo, where the cook will pitch the tent and prepare the meal on your arrival. Enjoy dinner and retreat for a good night's sleep.

Day 4: Trek to Cheneq
Enjoy breakfast and set out for another 6-hour trek towards Cheneq.
Overnight stay in Cheneq.

Day 5: Drive to Gondar, Bahirdar.
After early morning breakfast, set out on a drive to Bahirdar via Gondar.
- On arrival in Gondar, visit the 17th-century castles’ compound, registered by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
- Visit the Debre-Berhan Selassie Church, which is richly decorated with murals depicting biblical stories and portraits of angels.
Enjoy lunch before resuming drive towards Bahirdar.
Overnight in Bahirdar.

Day 6: Excursion to Blue Nile Falls and Lake Tana
After a very early breakfast at the hotel, drive 32 km southwest of Bahirdar to the small town of Tiss Abay. from here, walk for thirty minutes to arrive at the famous Blue Nile Falls. Walk for about 20 minutes to reach a viewpoint that affords a spectacular view of the falls' breathtaking plunge.
Drive back to Bahirdar for lunch.
In the afternoon, make a boat trip on Ethiopia’s largest water body, Lake Tana, to visit the monasteries of URA Kidane Mihret located on the largest peninsula of the lake. These monasteries are known for the colourful frescoes of religious scenes, and an impressive display of illuminated bibles written in Ge’ez, Ethiopia’s oldest language.
Fly to Addis Ababa on an evening flight and then connect to your homebound international flight.
