Day 1: Nairobi - Meru National Park
After breakfast, start your journey from Nairobi to Meru National Park via Nyeri and Nanyuki or Embu all-weather roads.
Meru National Park is located 348 km from Nairobi.
Upon arrival at Ikweta Safari camp, have lunch and then relax for a while.
After lunch, depart for an afternoon game drive. Be ready with cameras, as the Big Five and other animals can be easily spotted in this vast natural park.
Enjoy visiting the home of Joy & George Adamson, Elsa the lioness, witness the views of Mt Kenya, and feel the music of the free-flowing Tana River and Adamson's Falls. Meru National Park is mainly a thorny bushland in the north.
Return to the camp for an overnight stay as the game drive ends.

Day 2: Meru - Drive to Samburu Game Reserve
Today, spend a full day in Meru National Park as you go for morning and afternoon game drives. Meru wildlife includes large herds of African buffalo, bushbuck, elephant, gazelle, giraffe, and the list just goes on.
Expect to see baboons jumping from one branch to another, hyenas hunting down prey, a pride of lions going for a walk, a leopard sleeping on a tree, and more.
You will also be taken for a visit to the Murera and Ura rivers, which abound with hippos and crocodiles. You will witness various bird species, including the Pel's Fishing Owl, kingfishers, rollers, bee-eaters, starlings, and numerous weavers.
After the game drive, return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Meru Park - Samburu & Shamba Game Reserve
Wake up for an early morning game drive before breakfast. Return to the lodge at 0900hrs for a full breakfast.
Check out of the lodge as you exit Meru Park with a game drive en route to Samburu Game Reserve, located on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. The Buffalo Springs National Reserve in Northern Kenya is on the other side of the river.
Arrive in time for lunch and have your meal. Later, we set out for an afternoon game drive.
In the southern part of the park, you are guaranteed to see most of the famous animals found in Samburu, such as cheetahs, lions, leopards, impalas, buffalo, hippos, and the native gerenuk.
During the dry season, almost all animals visit the Usaso Nyiro River, as it is their main water source during the long dry season. This is the best time to spot wildlife here. You can also watch the Nile crocodiles swimming in the river.
Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: From Samburu to the Wild of Ol Pajeta Conservancy
On this day, you will explore Samburu Game Reserve with an early morning game drive and then return to the camp at 0900 am for breakfast.
Prepare for check-out and proceed to Samburu villages, enjoying a game drive en route.
Take a brief stopover at Isiolo Town for lunch.
After lunch, you will travel to the exotic Ol Pejeta Ranch and Rhino Reserve, also known as Sweetwaters Game Reserve. These magnificent beasts are given a safe house from poachers, who kill rhinos for profit by selling their horns.
Meet primates at Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Enjoy a view of the busiest waterhole in the area.
Enjoy special activities like escorted game walks and horseback rides at the camp.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Sweewaters Conservancy
Enjoy an early morning game drive in the sanctuary and return for breakfast at 09:00 am.
Post breakfast, check out of the lodge and proceed for more game viewing as you leave for Aberdare National Park.
Upon arrival, have lunch.
After lunch, you will be transferred to the lodge.
Relax and enjoy being at the superb vantage point (Viewing Bunker) for game viewing, as the lodge is famous for its high perches and balconies, overlooking a salt lick and a waterhole.
Enjoy high-altitude game viewing, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Aberdares - Thomson's Falls - Nakuru
After an early morning breakfast, you will be driven to Nyahururu Thomson's Falls.
Upon arrival, have lunch while you witness the 83-feet natural wonder. Don't miss out on taking a walk around the falls. Head out for a whole afternoon exploration tour.
After lunch, walk down a stony path to the bottom of the ravine, commonly known as 'T-falls'.
Upstream, on the Ewaso Narok River, is one of Kenya's highest hippo pools spread in marshy bog land.
A brief break at the Subukia Rift Valley and Equator Point follows this.
Arrival in Nakuru for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Visit Lake Nakuru & Lake Elementeita
Early breakfast will be served at 06:00 am. Later, with a packed picnic lunch, you will leave for a day-long extensive game drive at Lake Nakuru Park. The lake is famous for its remarkable concentration of birds, in particular the pink flamingos. The park also serves as a conservation area for endangered rhinos.
Drive up to the Baboon Cliff, the highest point in the park that offers scenic views of the park and its surrounding area. It is an excellent spot for clicking pictures.
Embark on your afternoon game drive around the lake and glimpse various kinds of fauna such as waterbuck, gazelle, buffalo, rhino, the rare Rothschild giraffe, lion, leopard, and more. As the game drive goes on, you will also visit Nakuru Makaria Falls.
After that, take a short drive to Lake Elementeita for scenic views and a photo session of the Great Rift Valley.
Indulge in bird watching and keep looking for other wild animals.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Elementeita - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, begin to explore the beautiful Lake Elementaita on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. This beautiful Lake attracts many visiting flamingos, and zebra, gazelle, eland, and families of warthog graze the shores.
At the southern end of the Lake lies the “Kekopey” hot springs. The springs are top-rated for bathing. The local Masais claim that dipping in the hot springs can cure many diseases. The reed beds nearby are fishing grounds for night herons and pelicans.
Next, you will visit the Kariandusi Museum, an important prehistoric site where stone hand axes and cleavers were discovered in 1929 by Louis Leakey.
After lunch, proceed to Lake Naivasha, known for its export flower farming, arriving in the early hours of the afternoon.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel/lodge. Relax for a while and then leave for Lake Naivasha for an optional boat ride, coupled with fishing expeditions in which the local fishermen join you as you head to Crescent Island in the Lake.
Drive across the narrow, swampy causeway from Sanctuary Farm to access the island for more activities in the remaining day. This private island sanctuary is one of the few places in the Rift Valley where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, and impalas and spot countless bird species.
Enjoy some more island walks and a photography tour led by a tour guide for the rest of the afternoon.
Return to the lodge/hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Lake Elementeita - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, proceed for a short 10-minute drive to Hell's Gate National Park for a walking and cycling experience, accompanied by a local guide who will help you explore this Park. Located in the Naivasha area, this Park lies beside the lake.
The Park was named for its pair of massive red-tinged cliffs framing a geo-chemically active interior of steam vents and bubbling springs. The looming cliffs and the Hell's Gate gorge offer a spectacular sight.
Walking is permitted, making it ideal for hiking, biking, and rock climbing.
Next, you will visit another main attraction, the Fischer's Tower, a 25-m high volcanic rock. You will also visit Olkaria Geothermal power station, a spectacular site with steam plumes rising into the air.
After exploring Hell's Gate Park, drive back to Lake Naivasha. If time permits, take an optional boat ride to explore the lake and enjoy spending time with the local fishermen.
As dusk falls, return to the hotel/lodge to sit back, dine & unwind.

Day 10: Lunch at a Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi
After breakfast, head to Crater Lake Game Sanctuary. It's great fun to explore the sanctuary on foot, independently or with a local guide, as this area is full of hundreds of species of birds and mammals. While walking through the sanctuary, you can spot gazelle, giraffe, zebra, eland, baboon, and black and white colobus monkeys.
You can also take a short walk to the rim of the beautiful volcanic crater that offers views down to the emerald-green lake in the crater. Depending on the water levels of other Rift Valley lakes, there are sometimes large populations of flamingos on the lake.
Crater Lake Game Sanctuary is a haven for more significant and lesser flamingos, little grebes, cape teal, great white pelican, whiskered tern, maribou, grey and black-headed heron, African fish eagles, yellow-billed storks, pied avocets, Egyptian geese, and many more.
After experiencing the crater lake adventure, return to the hotel for check out and depart for the final leg of your 10-day luxury bush safari to Nairobi.
Arrival and lunch at around 1:00 p.m.
After lunch, transfer to your next destination, as per your choice.
