Itinerary

1. Day 1- Arrival in Antananarivo

   • Connect with the guide and get assistance at the airport. 
   • Then, go for a visit to the capital.

   • Check-in at the hotel. 

2. Day 2- Antananarivo - Antsirabe

   • After breakfast, continue to Antsirabe.

   • Pass through Ambatolampy which is home to the cooking pot makers. 

   • Then arrive at Antsirabe to visit the "Hot Water" Thermal Spring.

   • Take a Pousse Pousse (human pulled rickshaw) Tour.

   Overnight in a hotel. 

3. Day 3 - Antsirabe - Fianarantsoa

   • After breakfast, proceed to Fianarantsoa. 

   • Pass through Ambositra, the handicraft capital of the Island (Marquetry and Basketry made of wood and plant). 

   • Then arrive at Fianar. 

   • Visit the Old Town (Tanana Ambony). 

   • Go to the Wines Factory. (Lazan'i Betsileo and Soavita, etc.)

   Overnight in the hotel.

4. Day 4- Fianarantsoa - Manakara

   • After breakfast, continue to Manakara by Train. 

   Overnight in hotel.

5. Day 5- Train of Legend

   • Pass through 17 train stations and two tunnels. The route will take about 7 to 8 hours by Train (Train of Legend).

   • Arrive in Manakara.

   • Check-in at the hotel.

6. Day 6- Manakara

   • You can have an overview of the town in one glance, for there are two significant neighbourhoods complementing each other - Manakara, where you first landed, and the other is Manakara-Be. It is a little town stretching between the river and the sea.

   • Visit the fishing villages, essential oils distillery, medicinal herbs of Madagascar and a former settler's plantation. Tours here are generally done by rowing in a traditional canoe.

   Overnight at the hotel.

7. Day 7- Manakara - Ranomafana

   • After breakfast, continue to Ranomafana to visit the "Hot Water" Thermal Spring.
   • Arrive in Ranomafana and then check-in at the hotel.

8. Day 8- Ranomafana National Park

   • Visit the Ranomafana National Park, which indeed, is a genetic pool of many rare and endemic plants and animal species (Lemur Baboo" Happalemur Aureus, birds, insects, reptiles, lizards, gecko, tonnes of endemic plants).

   Overnight in a hotel.

9. Day 9- Ranomafana National Park

   • The National Park is one of the most popular ecotourism attractions in the region and performs an important ecological mission in the South-Central and Eastern parts of Madagascar.

   Overnight in the same hotel.

10. Day 10- Ranomafana - Ranohira

    • After breakfast, move to Ranohira

    • Pass through Fianar and then Ambalavao.

    • Visit the Antemoro Paper Makers, who make paper from a plant called"Avoho". 

    • Next, we will go to see the Silk fabrics made by craftsmen by hand.

    • Lastly, visit the Zebu Market.

    • Arrive in Ranohira for an overnight stay in a hotel.

11. Day 11- Isalo National Park

    • Visit the Isalo National Park, to see lemur catta, sifaka, iguanas, birds, reptiles and endemic plants. 

    Overnight in a hotel. 

12. Day 12- Isalo National Park

    • Today, we visit natural Limestone and dessert.

    Stay at the same hotel.

13. Day 13- Ranohira - Ifaty

    • After breakfast, continue to Ifaty.

    • Pass through Toliara, a little town. 

    • Then, go to see Shell Fabric and continue to Mahafaly Tombs.

    • Arrive at Ifaty and check-in at the hotel.

14. Day 14- Ifaty

    • Beach and swim lovers will have endless choices in the Mozambique Ocean and the Manific Lagoon.

    Overnight in the hotel. 

15. Day 15- Ifaty

    • Visit the Fishing Village "Vezo" and the Manific Lagoon.

    Overnight in the hotel. 

16. Day 16- Ifaty

    • Day for leisure.

17. Day 17- Antananarivo

    • Transfer to the airport to board your return flight.
