Itinerary

1. Day 1- Antananarivo

   • Get reception and assistance at the airport.

   • Then, visit the capital.

   Check-in at the hotel.

2. Day 2- Antananarivo - Antsirabe (169Km)

   • After breakfast, proceed to Antsirabe.

   • On the way, visit the cooking pot maker in Ambatolampy.

   • After arriving in Antsirabe, have fun at the "Hot Water" thermal spring and town.

   Overnight at the hotel.

3. Day 3- Antsirabe - Ambositra (90Km)

   • After breakfast, continue to Ambositra, the capital of handicrafts (marquetry and basketry made from woods, plants, and more).

4. Day 4- Ambositra - Antoetra

   • Hike to Antoetra to meet craftspeople.

   • Then, stop to discover the Antoetra village, especially the lifestyle of local people.

5. Day 5- Antoetra

   • We shall see many things during this hike at Antoetra, such as birds, insects, and reptiles.

   Overnight at the camping site.

6. Day 6- Ambositra - Fianarantsoa (162Km)

   • After breakfast, proceed to Fianarantsoa - the gate in the South. 

   • Then, visit the old town (Tanana Ambony) and the wine factory (Lazan'ny Betsileo, Soavita).

   Overnight at the hotel.

7. Day 7- Fianarantsoa - Ambalavao (60Km)

   • After breakfast, continue to Ambalavao - the second Zebu market of the island. 

   • Then, visit the Antemoro paper maker at the Bougainvillée hotel and the silk fabric.

   Overnight in the hotel.

8. Day 8- Ambalavao - Andringitra (56Km)

   • After breakfast, proceed to the Andringitra National Park. It takes about 47 km from Ambalavao to the East, then 60 km to the National Road 7.

9. Day 9- The Andringitra National Park

   • Begin from Belambo at 650 m until 2658 m, the highest point accessible on the big island. 

   • Hike through the arranged trails, waterfalls, and historic caves

   • Walk on the rock and steps to see the lemurs catta (ringtail lemurs), chameleons, iguana, lizards, birds, insects, tonnes of endemics plants (orchids), and other wildflowers. Also, see the rare palm trees in Konkona.

   Overnight in the camp.

10. Day 10- The Tsaranoro Valley (Climbing & Paragliding)

    • Continue trekking until you reach the Tsaranoro valley (Best for climbing, paragliding & base jumping).

    • Visit the village reserve (Tanamasoandro Local Association).

    • See lemurs catta (ringtail lemurs), chameleons, iguana, lizards, birds, insects, and tonnes of endemics plants

    Night at the hotel (Camp Catta).

11. Day 11- The Tsaranoro Valley - Ranohira (250Km)

    • After breakfast, proceed to Ranohira.

    • Pass through Ihosy, the capital of the Bara tribe (Zebu breeder).

    • Arrive at Ranohira and check-in at the hotel.

12. Day 12- Isalo National park

    • After breakfast, hike to the Isalo National park.

    • See lemurs sifaka (Propitheque verroux), lemurs catta (ringtail lemurs), chameleons, iguana, lizards, birds, insects, and tonnes of endemics plants.

    Overnight in camp.

13. Day 13- The Isalo National park

    • Indulge in wildlife watching.

    Overnight in camp.

14. Day 14- Ranohira - Ifaty (721Km)

    • After breakfast, continue to Ifaty.

    • Pass through Toliara for a brief visit.

    • Arrive at Ifaty and check in at the hotel.

15. Day 15- Ifaty

    • Beach and swimming lovers in the Mozambique ocean will have endless choices.

    • Then, visit the fishing village of "Vezo" and the lagoon.

    Overnight in the hotel.

16. Day 16- Ifaty - Antananarivo (980Km)

    • End of boarding and the tour.
