Itinerary

Day 1: Srinagar
Pick up from Srinagar Airport and then proceed to the houseboat.
Local sightseeing includes:
A visit to the famous Mughal Gardens. Built by the Mughals in Persian style, it has typical features that include pools, fountains, and canals inside the gardens.
Visit Shankar Acharya Temple (built on the top of the mountain overlooking Dal Lake).
Then proceed to Pari Mahal (Palace of Fairies), Cheshma Shahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan.
Next, proceed to Shalimar Garden, known as ‘Garden of love’ built in the 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jehangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa). Here, you will also enjoy a shikara ride on the world-famous Dal Lake.
While sailing on the Dal, you will cover the floating gardens, vegetable gardens, Golden lake, inner markets like Meena Bazaar, canals, etc., and enjoy the Zabarwan mountains' scenic view.

Day 2: Gulmarg
After breakfast, leave for Gulmarg - “Meadow of Flowers”. Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired by its grassy slopes covered with wildflowers. In winter, Gulmarg looks more beautiful due to heavy snowfall.
Then, turn to India’s premier Ski resort in winter, Gulmarg, which has one of the best ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course with 18 holes; enjoy your day by gondola ride (on your own expense).

Day 3: Pahalgam
Drive to Pahalgam “Valley of Shepherds”.
En-route sightseeing: visit Awantipura ruins, saffron fields, and cricket bat factories.
Continue to drive towards Pahalgam, which is the most famous place for the Indian Film Industry. In Pahalgam, you can also visit Betaab valley (Betaab Valley is situated 15 kilometres from Pahalgam. The valley got its name from Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh's debut film Betaab.) The valley is surrounded by lush green meadows, snow-clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation.
Next, go to Aru Valley, a small yet self-sufficient scenic village located 12 km from Pahalgam; or you can visit Chandanwari, situated at a distance of 16 km from Pahalgam, and the starting point of the yatra that takes place every year in the month of (July to August). A local taxi has to be hired for these beautiful places (own your own expenses).

Day 4: Srinagar
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Srinagar Airport to catch the flight for an onward journey with sweet holiday memories.
