Meet the mountain gorillas of Uganda on an adventurous trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Walk through the beautiful jungle and spend one unforgettable hour with the gorillas of the misty mountains. Along the way, travel from Kampala with a stop at the equator, and if time allows after the trek, spend your second night at the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park with the chance of seeing elephants.

Day by day
Meet your guide and start early from Kampala, prepared for a long day in the car.
Along the way, stop at the equator for some photos and have lunch in Masaka or Mbarara, depending on the time.
Continue to Bwindi Mountain Gorillas through the neck of the impenetrable forest. If you arrive early, you can take a walk and mix with the locals.
Have an early breakfast before setting off for your gorilla trekking adventure.
Explore the other biodiversity of the Impenetrable Forest, which includes several birds, butterflies, and plant species, as well as forest hogs, forest elephants, sitatungas, and dikers.
After the trek, your guide will pick you up and, depending on the time you return from trekking, begin the journey back toward Kampala to reduce tomorrow's travel time. The plan is to spend the night at the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park, with the chance of spotting elephants from the lodge. Accommodation for this night is planned at the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park, but if you return late from trekking, the overnight stay will be in Kabale instead.
After breakfast, set off towards Kampala.
Have lunch along the way and arrive back in Kampala in the late afternoon or evening after meeting the gorillas of Uganda.
