Itinerary

1. Day 1: Visit to Kandy

   • Head off to Kandy after meeting up with your guide as the perfect start to your journey.

   • Visit the elephant orphanage at Pinnawala, where you can help feed baby elephants that their mothers abandon.

   • Explore the city of Kandy, which revolves around a lake in the heart of the town.

   • Enjoy shopping at the great Kandyan bazaar, teaming in sound and sight of trade, alongside the temple of the sacred tooth relic of Buddha.

   • Once you're refreshed, view the traditional Kandyan Cultural Performance.

   • Stay for the night at the hotel.

2. Day 2: Discover the highlights of the city of Kandy

   • Visit the most famous landmark of Kandy, i.e. the lake located in the center of the City.

   •  Stay for the night at the Hotel.

3. Day 3: Hike to Nuwara Eliya

   • Hike on from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya as the road starts to ascend steadily.

   • Climb up to approximately 1,500m, venturing into the tea country where you will see the tea plantations and regular intervals the white-coloured Tea factories.

   • Enchant yourself with glimpses of the surrounding waterfalls as you witness a few rice fields and vegetable plantations.

   • Enter into the resort town of Nuwara Eliya, also called little England, situated 2070m above sea level.

   • Visit the little lake and the surroundings for a glimpse into nature.

   • Head for a night at the hotel.

4. Day 3: Discover the architectural highlights at Nuwara Eliya

   • Break Drive through the little town where the architecture is a highlight.

   • Visit the busy market where you can witness tea plantation workers go about their day.

   • Drop-in at the Botanical gardens, or spend the evening walking in the cool climate.

   • Get the opportunity to visit a Tea factory and taste one of the finest teas in the world.

   • Return to your hotel in Colombo.
