Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival and Game Drives in Tsavo East

Pick up from your hotel at around 6:00 am, followed by a drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway for 100 km.
Stop for coffee.
Continue 6 km to Tsavo East, the largest park in Kenya, which covers an area of 13,747 km2, and arrive at Bachuma.
Begin the game drive en route to Aruba Dam.
Get a chance to see animals such as red elephants, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, and giraffes, among others.
Proceed with the game drive to Ashnil Aruba Lodge and check in at around 1:00 pm.
Have lunch and relax until 4:00 pm.
Start another game drive until 6:30 pm.

Return for dinner and overnight at Ashnil Aruba Lodge or similar.

Day 02

Morning Safari and Transfer to Tsavo West

Wake up at 5:30 am for coffee, then start an early morning game drive until 8:30 am before returning for breakfast.
Check out, followed by a game drive en route to the gate.
Depart for Lions Bluff Sanctuary, a distance of 90 km.
Arrive at the gate and begin a game drive en route to Lion Rock Camp, arriving at around 1:00 pm for check-in and lunch.
Relax until 3:30 pm, then begin a game drive until 6:30 pm. The sanctuary is home to elephants, buffalos, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, hartebeests, eland antelopes, and zebras.

Dinner and overnight at Lion Rock Camp or similar.

Day 03

Final Game Drive and Departure

Wake up at 5:30 am for coffee and begin an early morning game drive until around 8:30 am before a full breakfast, then check out.
Make the last game drive en route to the gate, then depart for Voi town for lunch.
Drive back to the hotel, arriving late in the evening.
