Spend a wonderful 3-day vacation amidst the spectacular wildlife in Mikumi National Park, the fourth-largest in all of Tanzania and easily accessible from the city of Dar Es Salaam. Get into a 4x4 Jeep and make your way through the vast landscape where animals like elephants, giraffes, wild dogs, lions, and antelopes abound. Wildlife sightings are almost guaranteed in this park due to dense animal habitation, making this the perfect safari for those with relatively lesser time.
Itinerary

Day 1: Fly from Zanzibar to Dar Es Salaam & Drive to Mikumi
Enjoy an early morning breakfast at your hotel before setting off to the Zanzibar Airport to catch the 6:30 AM fight to Dar Es Salaam. Arrive in Dar Es Salaam by 8:00 and depart for Mikumi by 4x4 Safari Jeep.
After driving for 3 hours (depending on the traffic on the highway), stop for lunch in Morogoro Town. Continue drive towards Mikumi National Park and arrive at the destination by early afternoon.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park and depart for Lodge (located within the park) by late evening for dinner.
Overnight Stay at lodge in Mikumi.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, go on a full day game drive in the national park. Relish the beautiful landscape of this region enjoy sightings of animals such as elephants, giraffes, wild dogs, lions, and antelopes, amongst many others. Enjoy a packed lunch during your safari.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Mikumi to Dar Es Salaam Transfer
Go for an early morning game drive in Mikumi National Park to appreciate the beautiful sunrise.
Return to camp for breakfast, and depart for a game drive till afternoon. Enjoy a packed lunch in course of your safari.
Drive back to Dar es Salaam and arrive at 17:00 PM.
