Fireflies-Sighting Tour
Drive to Kuala Selangor for approximately 1.5 hours.
On arrival, visit Bukit Melawati, where Fort Altingsburg is located. The hilltop is crowned by a lighthouse and tall, beautiful shady trees that serve as a haven for local birds, silvered leaf monkeys, and long-tail macaques.
At dusk, drive across the bridge over the Selangor River for a seafood dinner at a fishing village.
After dinner, go on a 15 minutes drive to a Malay village to board a typical Malay 5-seater wooden rowboat (Sampan). Life jackets are provided, and the boatmen would row along the river.
Observe as millions of fireflies present a dazzling display of lights, flickering in synchrony that resembles twinkling electric lights on a Christmas tree.
