1. Short Walking Tour of Jaisalmer

Artisans specialize in different arts and crafts, such as water pots and bowls, perfect eco-friendly substitutes for ceramic and plastic ones. Workspaces of skilled clay potters and metalsmiths who work on gold, silver will definitely be a delightful experience. Watch artisans paint pots and clay objects in colourful traditional designs and take home your favourite pieces as souvenirs.

   • The trail takes you through the markets of delicate handmade traditional wear or colourful accessories. 

   • The best way that Rajasthan’s folk tales are told is through “Kathputli”, or puppetry. Get your own colourful puppets from vendors in the streets and deck up your homes with beautiful memories as the city is home to some of the most talented artists, many of whom have earned global recognition. 

   • See traditional embroidery styles like patchwork, which are unique and exquisite.

   • On the way, you may visit an art gallery, which is specialized in old and new embroidery. Meet a person who will explain which are authentic and which are touristic.
