- Pick up from the hotel at 7:30 am.
- Travel along the N2 highway towards the Gordons' Bay coastline that offers good opportunities for photographs and whale watching.
- Visit the African Penguin colony in Betty's Bay, a great place to see the flightless birds in their natural environment.
- Arrive at the coastal town of Hermanus.
- Drive along its coastline looking for the best sightings of Southern Right whales, who visit the bay annually during the calving season.
- Take a lunch break at one of the many little restaurants dotted along the coastline, overlooking the huge bay area.
- Travel along the 85 km coastline towards the city.
- Continue to search the coastline for the Southern right whales on the way back.
- Stop for a wine tasting session at Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.
- Arrive at Cape Town at approximately 6:00 pm.
