Explore the surroundings of Lake Ndutu, a seasonal soda lake in the Serengeti, adjacent to Lake Masek and the Main Gorge at Olduvai. Visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania, home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and the Big 5. Browse Tanzania's vast countryside in a quest for wildebeests, hartebeest, elephants, giraffes, waterbucks, flamingos, zebras, and other wildlife animals.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Arusha
Pick up from the Kilimanjaro Airport and travel to Olasiti lodge in Arusha.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Drive via the Rift Valley to the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro highlands.
Explore the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest volcanic caldera, almost 20km wide, approximately 600 m deep.
Discover the large variety of wildlife, including the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. The various springs found on the caldera floor attract animals such as wildebeest, gazelles, reedbucks and more than 500 bird species.
Continue to Lake Ndutu.
Dinner and overnight stay at Ndutu Savanna Camp.

Day 3: Ndutu Plains
Rise early in the morning and depart for a full day game drive in Ndutu.
Discover a canopy of giant acacia overlooking the soda lake.
Look for animals such as wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, elephants, lions and gazelles.
Dinner and overnight stay at Ndutu Savanna Camp.

Day 4: Ndutu Lake Game Drive
Rise early in the morning and depart for a full day game drive in Ndutu.
Dinner and overnight stay at Ndutu Savanna Camp.

Day 5: Depart for Arusha
Check out from the lodge and depart for Arusha.
