Itinerary

Day 1: Travel from Gondar to Sankabar
- Drive from Gondar to Debark to obtain a permit from the Park headquarters and collect our obligatory scout before continuing to Sankaber for the first overnight camp.
- Begin the trek at Buytras (Simien Lodge), and walk to the Sankaber campsite while trying to get a look at Gelada baboons.

Day 2: Continue to Geech
- Walk to Geech via the spectacular Jinbar waterfall, then descend to the Jinbar Wenz before continuing to the Geech Village campsite.
- Admire great views of the mountains, the giant lobelia plants, and witness the lovely sunset from the nearby Kedadit summit.

Day 3: Return to Gondar
- Trek from Geech to the Imet Gogo promontory for one of the most spectacular views in the whole mountain range. You can also get to see the magnificent Lammergeier vultures.
- Walk from Imet Gogo back to the road near Ambaras village for the drive back to Gondar.
End of tour.
