Itinerary

1. DAY- 1: ARRIVE IN DELHI

   • On arrival at Delhi Airport, met the company representative.
   • After the meet and greet, transfer you to the hotel. 
   • Stay overnight in Delhi.

2. DAY- 2: DELHI - CITY TOUR

   • In the morning, take a sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat (the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi) and Shanti Vana (the cremation site of Jawaharlal Nehru), Jama Masjid, and drive past the Red Fort and the Chandni Chowk.
   • In the afternoon, visit Qutub Minar (built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199), Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch), and Lakshmi Narayan Temple (a modern Hindu Temple). Also, drive past the President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings, and Connaught Place shopping center. 
   • Stay overnight at the hotel.

3. DAY- 3: DELHI - AMRITSAR

   • After breakfast, leave for Amritsar
   • In the afternoon, visit the Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch the Flag Retreat Ceremony - Wagah, an army outpost on the Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drills, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervor rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. 
   • Return to hotel. Overnight stay.

4. DAY- 4: AMRITSAR - DELHI

   • After breakfast, start your city tour by visiting the Golden Temple - the most important Sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs. It is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Then, visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. After lunch, visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum - The summer palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh which is situated in the heart of Ram Bagh, Amritsar.
   • Later in the afternoon, transfer to the railway station to board the train for Delhi. Upon arrival meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

5. DAY- 5: DELHI - JAIPUR

   • After breakfast, drive to Jaipur and check into a hotel. Our representative will assist you in your check-in process at the hotel.
   •  The evening is free for shopping around the local market. Jaipur is also known as the Pink City. It is the capital of Rajasthan, which is famous for its majestic forts, opulent haveli, beautiful lakes, and sand dunes. The history of Jaipur takes us about 300 years back in time when the Mughal Empire in India was on its decline.
   • Stay overnight at the hotel.

6. DAY- 6: JAIPUR

   • In the morning, visit the Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the capital of this state a long time ago. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Ascend the Fort in an open jeep.
   • In the afternoon, take a sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. It was painted in pink color a century ago in honor of a visiting Prince. Ever since Jaipur has retained this pink color. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, a notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. While in Jaipur, visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory, and Ram Niwas Gardens. 
   • Drive past the Hawa Mahal. 
   • Stay overnight at the hotel.

7. DAY- 7: JAIPUR - AGRA

   • After breakfast, drive to Agra. En route Agra, visit the Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri was built between 1571 and 1585. It is one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture. Though the city is in ruins now, it is a must-visit place for all those who visit Agra. Fatehpur Sikri is a place where one should spend some quality time. The sunset over the ruins is a sight to cherish.
   • Arrive in Agra and check into the hotel. Our representative will assist you in your check-in process at the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

8. DAY- 8: AGRA - DELHI

   • In the morning, visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument is made of white marble and it took 22 years to get constructed.
   • Then, visit the Agra fort. Built originally as a military establishment by Akbar in 1565, this red sandstone building was partially converted into a palace during the time of Shah Jahan. In the afternoon, visit Itmad-Ud-daulah. This tomb belongs to the father of Nur Jahan, Ghias-ud-Din Beg. He was the Wajir (Chief Minister) of Emperor Jehangir. This white marble tomb was built by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628.
   • Drive back to Delhi and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

9. DAY- 9: DELHI - DEPART

   • Transfer to the airport for your flight to your onward destination.
