Itinerary

1. Day 1: Airport / Pinnawala Orphanage / Kandy

   • You will be picked up by your guide at the Colombo International Airport & transferred to Pinnawala. The Orphanage was established to feed, nurse, and house young elephants who were abandoned at an early age. Witness the hospitality here before moving to your hotel. 
   • In the afternoon, visit the city of Kandy and the famous Kandy lake. Next, you can visit the Botanical Gardens, the temple of the sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha, and the Gem Museum in the evening. You can also choose to view the Kandyan cultural performance.

   Stay the night at the hotel.

2. Day 2: Kandy / Nuwara Eliya

   • Have breakfast at your hotel & proceed to the picturesque Nuwara Eliya. You are now in the Tea Country where you will see tea plantations. Here the white-coloured tea factories and waterfalls will enchant your eyes. Occasionally you would see a few rice fields and vegetable plantations.
   • The resort town of Nuwara Eliya, which is also called Little England and is situated 2070m above sea level, lies on a little lake and is surrounded by mountains covered over and over by tea bushes. Here you will also get the opportunity to visit a tea factory and taste one of the finest teas in the world.

3. Day 3: Yala National Park / Colombo

   • On this day, you will go on a jeep safari to the Yala National Park, the most popular national park established in 1938, situated in the Hambantota and Monaragala districts. It is home to almost all the animals and birds that are found in Sri Lanka.
   • Proceed along the Coastal Belt to Colombo and, on request, take a tour of the city at night.

4. Day 4: Colombo / Negombo

   • Spend your day relaxing at the beach in Negombo.

5. Day 5: Departure

   • After breakfast, you can proceed to Colombo International Airport to take your outbound flight.
