Saqqara & Memphis Historical Highlights Tour
- Drive to Saqqara, the City of the dead and visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first stone structure in human history built 5000 years ago, around the year 3000 BC.
- Explore the Pyramid of King Teti of the 5th royal dynasty and see the ancient hieroglyphs on its inner chambers' walls.
- Visit the tomb of Kagemni, one of the nobles of the 5th royal dynasty, which shows beautiful and rare scenes of ancient Egyptian daily life.
Proceed to Memphis, the ancient capital of old Egypt, founded by King Menes.
Travel to the open-air museum to see the Statue of Ramses II and the huge alabaster sphinx.
